Katie joined the GSVDS team in July 2026. She was born in New Orleans and now resides in Old Metairie with her 2 dachshunds, Rocky and Morty. She started in the veterinary field as an assistant in November 2011 and quickly realized her passion for dentistry. She is always eager to learn new things and loves to educate people on how important their pet's oral health is. She has also been certified as a CET Dental Care Ambassador through Virbac Dental.

Her favorite breeds are Dachshunds, Pomeranians, Pitbulls, and Irish Setters. She enjoys many hobbies outside of work, such as shopping, going to Jazz Fest, catching a show at Tipitina's, and checking out the newest restaurants in town.
